Sumobaby was brought in several years ago to take over the ongoing support of Meta Camera’s Beaver Builder–based website, with a focus on improving security, stability and the long-term reliability of their hosting infrastructure. Since then, we have been responsible for maintaining and optimising the hosting environment, ensuring the site remains secure, resilient and performant as traffic and content demands have grown.
In more recent years, we were asked to implement a challenging new design while retaining the existing page builder.
This required particular care around performance, balancing visual ambition with technical constraints to ensure fast load times, smooth interactions and a robust experience across devices, despite the inherent overhead of a page builder approach.

Beyond the website itself, Sumobaby has also contributed to work across Meta Camera’s wider technology stack. This has included supporting upgrades to hardware, software and visual interfaces designed to handle complex, high-bandwidth workflows, including responsive systems capable of managing input from up to eight camera lenses simultaneously.
Some of this work is highly visible and creatively exciting, directly supporting cutting-edge immersive production. Other elements are less obvious but no less essential, forming the technical foundation that allows Meta Camera to innovate with confidence, deliver reliably at scale, and focus on pushing immersive technology forward.
